Automatic pick and place gantry loading
for single or multiple part grinds.

CRI has developed an extremely accurate dual gantry system used for multiple part grinding applications. Load and unload is executed quickly. The system picks unground parts, raises and positions over the grind area with empty grippers ready to pick ground parts. As soon as the grind cycle is completed, the grippers pick the ground parts, the gantry moves and places the unground parts into position and the gantry moves back to front, unloading and retrieving more parts for the next cycle.

Grippers or pnuematic suction is used to pick up the parts. A walking beam magazine or part presentation slide is used to position the parts to the pick unit.
