The #3 EA Cincinnati centerless grinder is often used in bar grinding applications for steel and fiberglass materials. It is considered an aggressive machine for more open tolerance work.
Serveral upgrades are common to employ on the #3 EA. Transmission upgrades to Frequency Drive and HSV Drive for variable speed control with a reversing feature, slide probe for increasing the accuracy of compensation and reducing set-up time, and New Style Rate valves to aid the operator in obtaining consistent dress speeds are the most common.
The remanufactured machine will maintain consistent part geometry in a 24x7 grinding environment. Scheduled, preventive maintenance is all that will be needed for years of productive service.
CRI provides full documentation with each machine, including electric and hydraulic schematics. All programs are included. We provide training for your operators to ensure smooth integration into your production.
Each CRI remanufactured machine comes with a 24-month warranty on both spindles and a 12-month complete machine warranty. If you experience any issues, CRI's technicians will come to your plant and rectify all mechanical, electrical, or programming issues.
Let CRI inspect your grinding processes and help you develop grinding systems that consistently meet quality and production requirements. CRI offers remanufacturing on exchange, allowing you to keep production running while we prepare a grinding system for you.
