CRI’s automatic, pneumatic and hydraulic, infeed unit replaces Cincinnati’s hand-lever. The retrofit has been designed to directly couple to the leadscrew nut. This system provides automatic infeed movement for parts with a .0002 tolerance or greater.

CRI’s automatic infeed unit was designed to correct the issues that exist on the current feed units that are available for Cincinnati centerless grinders. The old units had wear points that could not be replaced and minimal thread engagement on the size adjuster. To address these issues we have incorporated a twin linear rail system that is completely rebuildable and we have doubled the thread engagement to one inch. We further refined the adjustment mechanism to incorporate a thread that has 60% more resolution.

Our unit provides a fully adjustable, smooth feeding grind cycle. Operators can quickly adjust the grinding cycle to achieve optimum cycle time. Cycle time can be minimized by adjusting dwell time, load time, rapid feed distance, fine feed distance and fine feed rate. This flexibility enables you to get more good parts out your door. A field proven, pneumatic and hydraulic system controls the motions for a smooth consistent grind cycle every time. This consistency is the key to holding size on every part.
