Part quality improvements, as well as increased uptime, can be achieved with CRI’s HSV Variable Speed Transmission replacement. This drive package eliminates the inherently problematic transmission found in Cincinnati’s #3 EA Centerless Grinder. CRI’s HSV Drive allows for changing the speed of the regulating wheel during the grinding cycle, giving you greater control and flexibility of part quality.

Reversing capability.

CRI also offers the option of adding a reversing switch so that the regulating wheel can be run backward. This is often used in bar grinding to enable the ground bar to be run back through the grinder to the load side to prepare for a second pass.
