This simple to install and inexpensive retrofit provides more accurate dressing control. The upgrade, while still hydraulically  controlled, is an improvement from the standard Cincinnati rate valve, providing a reduction in maintenance issues.
The rate valve meters the flow out of the cylinder or Accudrive motor, creating constant traverse rates. This retrofit provides the ability to preset and control traverse rates in both directions freeing the operator from constant adjustment and decision making during dressing.
The New Style Rate Valve Retrofit Kit comes complete with all hoses, fittings, and plates to assemble on your grinder.
