CRI's new style workrest: easy guide adjustment.
CRI’s New Style Workrest was designed with ease of setup in mind for grinding long shafts. Changing setups can be time consuming  and troublesome for operators, requiring minute guide adjustments. Standard workrest utilize a slotted screw for screwdriver adjustment of the guides.
CRI’s New Style Workrest makes guide adjustments quick and easy. Operators can fine adjust the guides easily and accurately. The adjustment stays at its setting because the adjusters are housed and kept free of contaminates. The guides are manufactured from premium carbide, providing years of use.
CRI uses precision equipment to machine the details, and grinds the blade mating surface, ensuring the workrest surfaces are flat and parallel. The blade rest area is precision ground for a precise, level, and parallel blade setup.
Cincinnati style workrests:
CRI also offers standard Cincinnati style workrests which are available in widths of 4", 6", 8", 10", 12", 15", and 20". These  workrests are available in both old style (for #1, #2, and #3 model Cincinnati grinders) and new style (for 200, 300, and 400 models Cincinnati grinders).
