Total programmability of the infeed cycle.
CRI’s Servo Infeed system replaces Cincinnati’s hydro-mechanical infeed and hand lever systems. The retrofit has been designed to directly couple the servo to an oversized ballscrew. The servo and ballscrew are fit to a new, one-piece, solid, cast-iron yoke. The system is engineered to provide zero backlash.
Our Servo Infeed is fully programmable with extreme repeatability and accuracy built-in. The unit can rapid in at 450 IPM and fine feed down to .000050. Repeatability of .000050 actual slide movement can be gaged. Closer tolerances can be obtained when coupled with CRI’s Low Friction slide retrofit. CRI’s Servo Infeed system can be added to any model of Cincinnati’s centerless grinders. Installation takes two days as a field retrofit. The infeed package integrates easily with CRI’s CNC control package and gaging systems.
